Accessibility

The NorShor Theatre is committed to ensuring an enjoyable experience for all patrons. Explore how our accessibility services can make your visit truly memorable. Contact us, if you have specific questions or would like an accommodation not listed below.

Assistive Listening Devices:

For productions at the NorShor Theatre, Assisted Listening Devices may be borrowed from the Box Office the night of any performance. Our assistive listening system uses microphones during performances to enhance words spoken on stage by separating speech from the background noise. This system amplifies the actors and brings the sound directly into the patrons’ ears through receivers coupled with headphones.

Courtesy Tour Service:

While maps and signage are helpful, having an expert by your side to help you navigate the building may be a welcome option for some. If you would like a NorShor Box Office member to assist you before your visit, please contact the Box Office and ask about our Courtesy tour service. There is no extra charge for this service, but reservations are appreciated.

Courtesy Drop-Off and Wheelchair Assistance:

The NorShor Theatre offers curbside drop-off directly under the NorShor Marquee. The parking area is reserved for drop-off and pick-up only, and a dedicated Usher is waiting to help you with your drop-off needs. Courtesy wheelchair assistance is available from the Medical District Parking Ramp to inside the NorShor Theatre. Right inside the Medical District Parking Ramp doors, we have a waiting area and ushers ready to help should you need assistance safely navigating the skywalk and your way into the NorShor.

Seating Accommodations:

The NorShor Theatre has tiered stadium seating that can be navigated by stairs with hand railings. Accessible seating is indicated on our seating chart and reserved for patrons using wheelchairs or with mobility issues. Row G on the Main Floor and Row D in the Balcony are accessible without stairs. We make every attempt to seat up to companions in adjacent or nearby seats.
