Connection is so important and we look forward to seeing you again…

Dear Friends,

We hope you are all safe and healthy. We miss you! There is no such thing as theatre, without you, our beloved audience. We look forward to seeing you as soon as it is safe to do so again.

We are very sad to inform you all upcoming productions and events at the NorShor Theatre have been postponed indefinitely for the months of May, June and July.

That does not mean these shows will not be seen on the NorShor stage. Though dates will change, we  at the Duluth Playhouse plan to produce all shows currently on hold, as soon as permissible.

Some shows may possibly get to the stage late summer – others will most likely find a slot in the 2020-2021 season beginning in September. All shows have been cast, with directors and designers ready to bring you an exciting experience.
Current Shows Postponed Until Further Notice:
  • Monty Python’s Spamalot
  • The Mousetrap
  • The Who’s Tommy
  • All classic film series viewings
  • Tommy Emmanuel (already rescheduled to January 15, 2021)

We can’t know when the social gathering restriction will be lifted. But when it is, the NorShor will be ready to bring shows back to the stage, so we may smile, laugh, and cry together once again.
We understand season ticket holders have seats for shows that have been postponed, and many single ticket purchasers as well. There are advertisers and sponsors who are also invested in the Playhouse’s upcoming productions.
In this extremely difficult time, we hope you can help us come back stronger than ever! We need you and deeply appreciate all our donors, patrons, sponsors, advertisers, volunteers, and staff.
If possible, would you please consider hanging on to your tickets or donating them? (We will send a tax donation letter.) As soon as the Playhouse is up and running, any tickets held will be honored. Thank you for this consideration.
Or – see a variety of other ways to support us below.
As always, you can stay up-to-date and connected with us on Facebook, in your inboxes, and at www.norshortheatre.com.
Take care and be safe.

Ways you can Support the NorShor Theatre now:

Enjoy a Special Performance from The Wizard of Oz:

Our music director assembled an orchestra for a very special performance of The Wizard of Oz‘s “Over the Rainbow,” and it’s with this we send you off. We hope you can find connection and joy in our efforts to celebrate the arts off stage (we have many more things planned in the coming weeks; please stay tuned!).
