Calling All Performers!
For the second year… WDIO/WIRT-TV and Centricity Credit Union are giving the Northland a chance to audition for a SILVER TICKET, granting the winner a one on one audition with the American Idol Executive Producers.
This event has very specific rules to be eligible. Including, but not limited to:
- A 90 Second Performance
- Only individual performers
- Legal US Resident
- Must be born between June 2, 1989, and June 1, 2003.
- Please make sure to review all rules and regulations before registering.
If you are between the ages of 15 – 28 years old, register for a chance to audition LIVE at the NorShor Theatre (211 E Superior Street) in Duluth from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 18. The first 125 contestants to register will get to perform in front of our local Judges Panel.
Contestants can sing a capella or bring a guitar. A keyboard is provided if needed.
Six (6) finalists from the original 125 contestants will be announced at 4:00 p.m. to perform one more time in front of the local judges. You must be present for the Call-Back announcement.
One lucky, local winner will receive a Silver Ticket which grants them a one on one audition with the American Idol Executive Producers in one of the celebrity judge audition cities (Location TBD.)
